If you play Injustice: Gods Among Us Mobile on an iPhone and you have gone looking for mods, you have seen the same thing everyone else has: page after page offering an "Injustice mod APK for iOS."
That phrase does not describe anything real. An APK is the Android package format. An iPhone cannot install one, cannot open one, and has no mechanism that would let it try. Every site publishing that combination of words is telling you something useful about itself before you have clicked anything.
What follows is what iOS actually permits, what it does not, and — because this is where iPhone players get hurt specifically — what the scams aimed at you look like.
Why the Android playbook does not port
Injustice mod APKs work the way they do on Android because Android lets you install an application from outside its store. Take the app, alter it, distribute the altered version, sideload it. Risky and detectable, but mechanically straightforward.
iOS does not work like that. Applications are signed, and the system checks the signature. There is no equivalent of "download this file and install it" available to an ordinary user, which means the entire category of modified client that dominates Android mod sites has no practical path onto your phone.
There are technical exceptions, and they are worse than they sound:
Developer and enterprise certificates. Distributing a resigned app to strangers is a misuse of these, and Apple revokes them when noticed. In practice that means an app that stops working without warning, sometimes within days, usually right after you have paid.
Sideloading tools that resign locally. These exist, they require regular re-signing, they break on updates, and they generally want your Apple credentials to function.
Jailbreaking. Increasingly limited on current iOS versions, breaks with updates, and removes the protections that make an iPhone worth having. Handing that level of access to a mod site is a substantially bigger decision than modding a game.
So what does work on iOS
The distinction that matters is client-side versus account-side.
Client-side means altering the app on your device. That is the Android APK category, and it is effectively closed to you as an iPhone player — which, awkwardly for the sites selling it, is good news.
Account-side means the state of your account changes and the app stays exactly as it came from the App Store. Nothing is installed, nothing is patched, nothing breaks when the game updates. Your progress lives on the account, syncs through your WBID, and is not affected by which device you happen to be holding.
This is the category everything we sell falls into, and it is platform-agnostic by nature. We support Android and iOS equally, not as a marketing line but because the work does not touch the device in the first place. How Injustice mods work walks through the process end to end.
The comparison, honestly
| Android | iOS | |
|---|---|---|
| Modified client available | Yes, widely | Not realistically |
| Survives a game update | No | N/A |
| Account-side work available | Yes | Yes |
| Device risk from modding | High with an APK | Low, unless you hand over credentials |
| Account risk | Same | Same |
| Main scam vector | Malware in the download | Apple ID and certificate schemes |
Two rows are worth dwelling on.
Account risk is identical. It is the same game, the same account, the same terms of service. Being on an iPhone does not reduce the chance of a penalty for account modification. Anyone selling iOS as the "safe platform" is selling you a distinction that does not exist. The safety guide covers what genuinely drives that risk.
Device risk is genuinely lower. Not because iOS is magic, but because the most dangerous thing in this hobby — installing an unknown modified binary — is impractical for you. iPhone players are structurally protected from the worst option. The scams adapted accordingly, which is the next section.
Scams aimed specifically at iPhone players
These are the patterns worth recognising on sight.
"iOS mod menu" or "Injustice hack for iPhone, no jailbreak." There is no supported route to an in-game mod menu on a stock iPhone. The page exists to move you to a survey, an installer, or a credential form.
Human verification walls. Complete two offers to unlock your resources. The offers are the product; there was never anything behind the wall.
Configuration profile installs. A page that asks you to install a profile in Settings is asking for a level of device control that has nothing to do with a fighting game.
"Enter your Apple ID to sync your mod." Covered above. This is credential theft with a game-shaped wrapper.
"Works on iOS 26, undetectable, instant." Three claims, each of which is doing separate work: current-version compatibility to seem maintained, undetectability to defuse your caution, and instant delivery to prevent you thinking it over. For genuine account work, automation raises risk rather than lowering it.
What ordering on iOS looks like here
For completeness, so you can judge it against everything above rather than against our marketing.
Nothing is installed. The app on your iPhone or iPad stays the unmodified one from the App Store. There is no profile, no certificate, no re-signing, and nothing to reinstall after an iOS or game update.
We never ask for your Apple ID. Some orders need game-account access, and when they do we say which and why — that is a WBID question, not an Apple one, and it is worth knowing the difference before anyone asks you for anything.
Checkout needs a Discord ID or a Telegram username, because a person handles each order rather than a script. Delivery is usually around twenty minutes for currency once confirmed, and longer for characters because there is more to set up by hand.
New customers get a one-time first-order bonus on top of whatever they buy: 65,000 Nth Metal, 40,000,000 Power Credits, and 500 Energy.
And the honest caveat we put on every page: this is against the game's terms of service on any platform, the risk is real, and are Injustice mods worth it? is worth reading before you decide the value is there for your account.
The short version
- There is no Injustice mod APK for iOS. The file format does not exist on your device.
- The dominant Android mod category is closed to you, and that is a protection rather than a limitation.
- Account-side work applies identically on iOS, because it never touches the app.
- Account risk is the same on both platforms. Device risk is lower on iOS unless you hand over credentials.
- Any iOS "mod" wanting your Apple ID, a configuration profile, or a jailbreak is after the device, not the game.
- Nothing legitimate needs to survive an iOS update, because nothing legitimate was installed.
